 India sees $ 55bn investment in clean coal over the next decade

India expects to invest around $ 55 billion in clean coal projects over the next decade, with Home Minister Amit Shah saying that 100 million tonnes of coal gasification capacity are planned by 2030.  More than 60% of investment in clean coal will come from the state - RN companies added Shah.  India is the world's third-largest emitter of greenhouse gases.
