 RBI imposes a fine of Rs 2 crore on Standard Chartered Bank for the delay in reporting fraud

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Thursday imposed a fine of Rs 2 crore on Standard Chartered Bank, India for the delay in reporting the fraud. The delay was detected during the statutory inspection of the bank. A notice was also issued to the bank, In which it was suggested to show why he should not be fined.
